Blackthorn Golf Club is seeking a reliable, hardworking Grounds Maintenance Worker to help maintain the overall appearance, playability, and health of our golf course. This position plays a key role in providing golfers with an exceptional on-course experience by ensuring turf, landscaping, and course features are kept in top condition.
Responsibilities:
- Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other turf areas
- Rake bunkers and maintain proper sand depth and condition
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment
- Assist with irrigation system operation
- Perform course setup duties including moving tee markers, cutting cups, and setting pins
- Repair ball marks, divots, and other turf damage
- Keep maintenance facility and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Willing to work early mornings and some weekends
