Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented SharePoint Administrator to join their IT team and support a dynamic, collaborative environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimizing SharePoint Online and/or on-premises platforms to ensure seamless performance, secure access, and an excellent user experience.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting, improving systems, and supporting users to get the most out of SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities:
- Ability administer and support new company SharePoint site Online and/or on-premises environments, including site collections, permissions, and governance.
- Configure and manage lists, libraries, and workflows to meet business needs.
- Maintain system health by monitoring performance, storage, and access controls.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users with SharePoint functionality.
- Develop and maintain documentation for site configurations and processes.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify improvements and implement best practices.
- Support integrations with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
- Assist with migrations, upgrades, and environment optimization projects.
- Gather requirements from business owners and implement or translate to SharePoint developers as required
Qualifications:
- 4 years of hands-on experience as a SharePoint Administrator
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, governance, and permissions.
- Experience managing SharePoint through Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Microsoft certifications such as SharePoint Administrator Associate or related credentials a plus.
