Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Maryland Higher Education architecture practice.
- Identify new business opportunities and strengthen client partnerships.
- Oversee large-scale projects from concept through completion, ensuring design quality and on-time delivery.
- Guide teams in design excellence, project management, and technical documentation.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and mentorship-focused studio culture.
- Support recruitment, development, and retention of top architectural talent.
Required Qualifications
- Architectural License (NCARB preferred) with 18 years in higher education design.
- Professional licenses beyond Maryland (Southeast/Mid-Atlantic).
- LEED AP accreditation and SCUP membership.
- Demonstrated success in business development and winning new work.
- Proficiency in design and graphic modeling tools (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite).
- Experience managing $10M-$50M architectural projects.
