As a Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy operations and report to the owner and Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare prescriptions as part of the workflow process.
• Supervision of pharmacy staff including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy, technician trainees, cashiers and delivery drivers.
• Ensure compliance with all Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Ensure that each customer (patients, physicians, and employees) is treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Support staff schedule(s) as required
• Support daily workflow efficiencies including staying on top of workflow throughout the day.
• Demonstrate fiscal responsibility and participate in fiscal management including oversight/ensuring appropriate reimbursement.
• Must have the ability to travel to any of our four retail and one closed door pharmacy locations, all located in the New River Valley (Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Giles and Shawsville).

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the state board.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understands and adheres to HIPAA.
• Adaptable and flexible in approach to work style to changing demands, circumstances and fast-paced work environment.
• Positive attitude to maintain professional and courteous relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and confidential information.
• Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
• Be passionate, motivated, and have a desire to help patients and serve others always.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
