Description
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) with proven experience supporting large-scale power generation facilities to join a career-defining power generation mega project
This will play a critical part in the engineering, design, and execution of structural systems for a combined-cycle power plant, supporting one of the largest energy infrastructure developments in the region.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, EPC-driven project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the structural engineering design for major power generation facilities, including combined-cycle power plants and associated infrastructure
- Perform and review structural calculations for steel and concrete structures, including foundations, equipment supports, turbine buildings, pipe racks, and auxiliary structures
- Develop and review engineering drawings, design packages, and technical specifications in coordination with civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, OSHA, project-specific standards)
- Provide engineering support during construction, including field reviews, RFIs, submittal reviews, and resolution of constructability issues
- Interface with EPC partners, owners, and third-party reviewers to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality expectations
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight where required
- Support schedule-driven deliverables on a long-duration, high-visibility mega project
Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) license - required
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 7 years of structural engineering experience, including power generation or heavy industrial projects
- Direct experience supporting combined-cycle power plants, gas-fired generation, or large industrial energy facilities
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete design
- Experience working on large EPC or owner-led mega projects
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience on multi-year construction projects valued in $100 million or billions
- Prior experience providing construction-phase engineering support
- Familiarity with fast-track project execution and complex stakeholder
