Qualifications
- 5 years of related experience with gas industry pipeline construction with a minimum of 1 year of compressor station construction/repair experience for compression projects preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Supervisory position with pipeline operating companies or pipeline construction contractor preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of college study of Construction Management, Engineering or Accounting preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience using Company D&C Manual preferred.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling and communication skills.
- Must possess good computer skills including proficiency with common desktop software applications including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent organization, communication, and document control skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Possess ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and procedures.
- Experience with mapping skills for maintaining and updating As-Built conditions.
- Ability to utilize March charts to analyze earned value.
- Ability to project cash flows and invoicing based on trending from daily reports.
- Ability to supervise personnel.
- Must possess dispute resolution skills.
- Experience and knowledge of applying standard health, safety and environmental requirements on construction projects required.
- Develop an understanding of the Company Safety Culture – Commitment to Zero policy and Stop Work Authority responsibilities.
- Continue to gain knowledge of Company D&C Manual content specific to standards and Craft Inspection responsibilities related to individual's inspection and documentation requirements.
- Complete all required reports and summaries for the project.
- Maintain databases as required for the project.
- Utilize march charts and analyze earned value.
- Project cash flows and invoicing using trends from daily reports.
- Attend project related meetings as required.
- Maintain and update As-Built drawings.
- Support field and administrative responsibilities of the Chief Inspector.
- Act as liaison between the Contractor, Chief Inspector and Company Construction Project manager (CPM).
