We’re looking for an experienced Project Controls Coordinator IV (PCC) to support large-scale capital construction projects — typically exceeding multi-million-dollar annual budgets with complex, multiyear timelines.
This role plays a key part in ensuring project cost, schedule, and reporting integrity from start to finish. You’ll lead the development and implementation of project controls procedures, integrate cost and scheduling functions, and provide oversight on all project controls deliverables.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support project execution and cost control.
- Collect data for cost estimates, establish control budgets, and perform cost monitoring, forecasting, variance, and earned value analyses.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations, including:
- Cost and Variance Reports
- Cash Flow and Schedule Variance Analyses
- Change Management and Contingency Logs
- Monthly Project Status Reports
- Collaborate closely with the project scheduler and field controls analysts to ensure alignment in progress and reporting.
- Engage stakeholders to review costs, commitments, and forecasts while proactively identifying potential issues or changes.
- Participate in project team and vendor meetings to stay on top of scope, cost, and schedule updates.
- Recommend process improvements for project cost management and reporting practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience in project controls or cost management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
- Experience working within a matrix organizational structure.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
Ideal Fit:
You’re someone who thrives on structure and accuracy, can juggle multiple priorities, and enjoys collaborating across diverse teams. You’re detail-oriented but also see the big picture — ensuring cost transparency and control on every project you touch.
