What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day activities of the plant maintenance team
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and uptime
- Prioritize breakdowns, work orders, planned maintenance, and equipment repairs
- Lead equipment rebuilds, installations, maintenance projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner closely with Operations to improve productivity, reliability, and overall plant performance
- Support Operator Driven Reliability (ODR) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) initiatives
- Provide technical leadership for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, boiler, PLC, and controls-related issues
- Manage maintenance parts, critical spares, and inventory
- Coach, train, develop, and evaluate maintenance team members
- Identify recurring equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies, GMPs, and food manufacturing standards
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
- 7–10 years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar leadership experience
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong hands-on knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with PLCs and automated production equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration, boilers, and plant utilities
- Strong preventive and predictive maintenance background
- Experience improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime
- Knowledge of GMPs and food manufacturing practices
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
