Role Overview
My client seeking a Principal who will play a hybrid role across origination, deal execution, and portfolio operations. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants full-cycle exposure — from sourcing and underwriting deals to stepping in and helping drive value inside the Portfolio Companies.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading diligence calls as they are rolling up their sleeves with portfolio management teams to execute strategic and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment & Deal Execution
- Source and originate investment opportunities across energy services, industrials, and emerging energy transition platforms
- Lead due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, and deal execution
- Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, company owners, and industry executives
Portfolio Operations & Value Creation:
- Partner with portfolio company leadership to implement operational improvements, commercial growth strategies, and organizational initiatives
- Drive financial discipline — budgeting, KPI frameworks, performance management
- Support bolt-on M&A integration where applicable
- Serve as the connective tissue between the investment team and portfolio management
