Blacklock has partnered with a leading investment bank that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join its Industrials M&A team in New York. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead execution of M&A transactions within the Industrials sector, from initial pitch through to deal close
- Manage complex financial models, valuations, and transaction materials
- Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, legal teams, and other advisors
- Support senior bankers in client coverage and origination efforts
- Mentor and oversee Analysts and junior Associates on deal teams
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong preference for M&A execution experience
- Sector experience in Industrials is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and transaction structuring
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification a plus
