Role Overview:

We're seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing digital marketing agency. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals across our full suite of services including web design, SEO, advertising, and branding. You'll work closely with our account management team to ensure seamless client onboarding and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Manage and nurture inbound leads through the sales pipeline
  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting to identify and engage potential clients
  • Research and qualify prospects across diverse industries
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Leverage CRM tools to track and manage all sales activities

Sales & Closing

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and goals
  • Present Blackhawk's services and value proposition through consultative selling
  • Develop customized proposals and pricing for web design, SEO, advertising, and branding projects
  • Negotiate contracts and close new business deals
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (Attio)
  • Track all prospect interactions, follow-ups, and deal stages
  • Provide regular pipeline reports and sales forecasts
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize the sales process
  • Manage sales cycle from initial contact through contract signing

Collaboration & Account Growth

  • Partner with account managers to ensure smooth client onboarding and handoffs
  • Collaborate with account management team on upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Work with leadership to refine service offerings and pricing strategies
  • Provide market feedback to help shape marketing and positioning strategies
  • Participate in networking events and industry activities to build brand awareness

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in digital marketing, SaaS, or agency environment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing services (websites, SEO, advertising, branding) or eagerness to learn
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated: Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative team player
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling professional services or project-based work
  • Familiarity with website development, SEO, and digital advertising platforms
  • Previous agency or B2B sales experience
  • Knowledge of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools
  • Understanding of the Austin/Texas business landscape
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance sales processes, personalize outreach, and improve efficiency

Compensation & Benefits:
