Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for menu items.
- Support the culinary team in food plating, garnishing, and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen surfaces through regular cleaning routines.
- Help with clearing dishes during service to ensure a smooth flow of guests.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with catering and banquet setups by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of food items.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Experience with food preparation, including basic cooking skills or culinary training is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospitality operations such as bussing, serving, or supporting food service teams enhances your fit for this role.
