Job Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. We are looking for someone who is personable, responsible, and ethical. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing existing commercial clients of our agency, ensuring that policy changes, renewals, and rewrites are handled in an accurate and timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional phone manner, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Duties
- Assist existing agents with their service needs
- Process policy changes, shop rewrites for existing business
- Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Conduct telemarketing activities to reach potential customers
- Analyze clients' current insurance policies and suggest improvements or additional coverage
- Provide sales administration support by processing insurance applications and documentation
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and explain complex insurance terms in a clear manner
- Proficiency in telemarketing techniques to keep an eye open for cross-selling opportunities
- Multilingual capabilities, especially proficiency in Spanish, are a plus
Qualifications
-Existing insurance licensure is preferred (Property/Casualty, Life/Health)
-Prior insurance experience is preferred
