Position: Food Preparer (Cold Station / Pantry)
Location: Blackbeard’s Grill & Steam Bar – Beaufort, NC
Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 35 hours per week
Shift: 2:00 PM until close
We’re looking for a sharp, dependable Food Preparer to run our cold station. This is a key role in our kitchen—responsible for executing salads, plating desserts, and maintaining consistency, speed, and presentation during a high-volume service.
This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in clean, organized work and can stay calm and focused while handling multiple tickets at once.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and plate all salads with consistency and attention to detail
- Assemble and present desserts to spec
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked cold station
- Follow recipes and plating standards exactly
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Handle multiple orders efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards
