Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring continuous monitoring and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and assist with cardiac procedures.
• Assess patient conditions, document history, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on cardiac health and safety measures.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of one year recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN or NIHSS preferred.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail and confidentiality.
