Position: Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Responsibilities: Assist patients recovering from injuries or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and maintain activity levels under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Support patient rehabilitation in an outpatient setting, working independently until the primary PT returns, with assistance from two support techs.
Qualifications & Skills: Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, active State License, and BLS certification (may be required). Prior outpatient experience is preferred.
Key Duties: Provide full-time outpatient therapy services, typically scheduled for four 10-hour days, with a focus on patient recovery and mobility improvement. Collaborate with a team and adhere to clinical guidelines.
