Job Title: Surgical Services/CVOR Tech

Location: Lubbock, TX

Role Overview: Provide specialized surgical support in a Short Term Acute Care (STAC) facility, focusing on Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. Responsible for assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CVOR tech duties during cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist surgical teams as needed.
• Work on a day shift (11:00 - 19:00), with a typical 40-hour workweek.
• Participate in on-call rotations during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Support Level II Trauma Center operations in a short-term acute care setting.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Certifications: BLS, CST, NBSTSA
• Mandatory experience in Cardio Thoracic & Vascular surgery with at least 2 consecutive years in cardiovascular procedures.
• Travel or local experience in Cardiovascular Surgery and Vascular procedures.
• Ability to work with a patient ratio of 1:3.
