Role: The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care using knowledge from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct family-centered care for individuals or groups. Demonstrate skills to address physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages. Perform leadership, professional duties, patient-centered care, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff education. Support provider collaboration, promote evidence-based practices, and utilize informatics and technology. May be temporarily assigned to different areas based on patient needs.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or obtained within 5 years), RN license in Ohio, and BLS certification are required. Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential, with ability to work under pressure. Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) and Microsoft Office preferred. Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate within a team environment is vital.
