Responsibilities
- Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments.
- Provide age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.
- Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.
- Assist physicians with procedures and utilize manual and technical skills.
- Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
- Practice cost-effective resource management and ensure patient safety.
- Prioritize care efficiently and commit to lifelong learning in nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Computer literacy is required; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS are preferred.
