Radiology Staff Nurse II - Per Diem

The Radiology Staff Nurse II provides care for adult and pediatric patients undergoing imaging procedures such as MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology.

They are responsible for

• assessing patients prior to procedures,
• administering medications,
• monitoring vital signs and sedation when necessary,
• and responding to any complications.
  
  

The role involves

• collaborating with radiologists, anesthesiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
  
  

to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

They also educate patients and families, coordinate services, and promote comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, from preparation to recovery and discharge.

Qualifications Include

• Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont (ADN required, BSN preferred),
• More than one year of relevant clinical experience.
  
  

This is a per diem role, with shifts typically ranging from 8 to 10 hours, Monday through Friday, between 6:00am and 6:30pm, depending on the imaging modality covered.
