Role Overview: The Flex Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct resident care and supervises nursing staff in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities; develop policies, care plans, and manuals; ensure accurate documentation and timely response to resident needs. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident services; oversee medication security and safety protocols; maintain resident rights and a clean environment. Participate in staff orientation, resident assessments, discharge planning, and departmental projects. Ensure compliance with regulations, infection control, and safety standards. Support emergency response and coordinate with medical professionals.
Qualifications and Skills: Graduate of an accredited LPN program, with at least one year in long-term care preferred. Must hold valid Florida LPN license and CPR certification.
