Phlebotomist

Role: The Phlebotomist performs blood draws and specimen collection for diverse tests, ensuring accurate data entry, specimen processing, and maintaining logs. They provide exceptional customer service and handle administrative duties, including billing and payments. The role involves traveling to various sites as needed and working in a Patient Service Center or client office.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug, paternity, and alcohol tests
• Accurately enter patient data and process billing information
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs
• Deliver superior customer service and handle administrative tasks
• Travel between sites when required
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training, or 3 months experience
• Preferred: 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Strong communication, customer service, and ability to work independently or in a team
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
• Ability to pass a color blindness test
