Role Overview: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist administers radiopharmaceuticals and radiation intravenously for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, ensuring high-quality procedure execution and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes using various radioisotope equipment.
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation and document all relevant information.
  • Obtain patient information and communicate preparation instructions.
  • Ensure quality control and maintain safety protocols during procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to address challenges and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI).
  • Registration with ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification (required in CA and OR).
  • Venipuncture and BLS certifications (required).
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient care, and procedural accuracy.
