- Position and prepare patients for MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform procedures, monitor patients, and respond to their needs throughout the exam.
- Complete detailed documentation for each study conducted.
- Utilize professional judgment and critical thinking during procedures.
- Participate in training and mentoring new staff and students.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and protocols to ensure optimal results.
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Preferred: one year of MRI experience.
- Knowledge of anatomy, patient care, and imaging procedures.
- Registration by ARRT or ARMRIT.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
