Key Responsibilities
- Reviews and prepares medical records, initiates follow-up, and documents patient data.
- Administers treatments, immunizations, medications, and performs point-of-care testing.
- Prepares reports, notifies patients of results, and considers age-specific needs.
- Implements and documents care plans, observes patient responses, and collaborates on revisions.
- Assigns tasks to unlicensed staff, provides instructions, and ensures quality care.
- Manages vaccination data, updates immunization records, and maintains vaccine inventories.
- Ensures compliance with infection control, health department, and VFC program guidelines.
- Provides patient education, participates in staff training, and supports clinical procedures.
- Maintains supplies, schedules patient visits, and processes required documentation.
- Hawaii LPN licensure and BLS certification.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic nursing procedures, maintain records, and work effectively with diverse age groups.
- Preferred experience in nursing and clinical settings, proficiency in PC applications.
