Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and energetic bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS systems, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and cleanliness. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy with retail math and basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Handle food handling responsibilities when necessary, including serving food during catering or banquet events.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for different events .
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings with a solid understanding of the food industry standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Spoton is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in fine dining environments or catering is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent math skills for cash handling, retail math, and managing sales transactions accurately.
