Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through the haunted attraction with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Manage crowd flow and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during the event
- Act as a character or scare actor, delivering lively performances that entertain and engage visitors while maintaining safety boundaries
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, conflicts or concerns with positive conflict management skills
- Enforce safety rules, including emergency procedures such as first aid or CPR when necessary
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a fun, safe environment that exceeds guest expectations
Experience
- Previous experience in events management or hospitality environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Experience working with children or in entertainment roles such as theater or food service enhances guest interaction skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification is highly desirable for quick response situations
- Outdoor work experience and physical stamina are important for managing long shifts involving heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
- Strong communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest services help create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
