Finish Grade Dozer Operator – Excavation & Site Services

Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Finish Grade Dozer Operator with experience in excavation, grading, and site development. The ideal candidate can produce smooth, accurate final grades, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and uphold the high standards of quality our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dozers to perform finish grading, cut/fill, and site preparation
- Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and elevations
- Work closely with foremen and grade checkers to achieve precise tolerances
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and uphold a drug‑free workplace
- Assist with other site tasks as needed to support the crew
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of finish‑grade dozer experience (excavation/site work preferred)
- Strong understanding of grading techniques, slopes, and drainage
- Ability to operate equipment smoothly and efficiently (on-site evaluation will be administered prior to hiring)
- Experience with GPS‑equipped machines is a plus (but not required)
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
