What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Bar, Bar Back (Part-Time) position at Black Oak Casino?
Please note: This is a seasonal position. Continued employment beyond the Pool Bar season may be available based on operational needs and performance; however, ongoing employment is not guaranteed.
SUMMARY: Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverage stations and equipment in accordance with company standards. Assists Bartender in providing beverage service to all Casino Guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of guest service.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
Ensures Bartender has necessary supplies to provide drinks to Guests in an efficient manner.
Provides courteous service to all Guests and Team Members.
Works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Abides by all State, Federal and local liquor regulations pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages to Guests.
Prepares work necessary for bar operation, including such tasks as refilling ice bins, restocking liquor, replacing kegs, cutting garnishes, and clearing away and washing empty glasses.
Works cooperatively with multiple departments to effectively monitor and control the sale and service of alcoholic beverages in the area where assigned.
Stocks and cleans work area maintaining proper sanitation controls.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Must complete Food Handler or ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Service certification or have proof of current certification.
Must possess a cooperative and friendly nature.
Must have ability to communicate and follow directions effectively in English.
Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Physical Demands:
Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally more with assistance.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
Salary : $17
