Position Overview
We build luxury custom homes, estates, and renovations with unmatched craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and concierge-level service. We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Carpenter with strong technical ability and refined attention to detail to support our high-end residential projects.
This role is best suited for an experienced carpenter whose primary strength is finish carpentry, while maintaining a working knowledge of all phases of custom home construction. Working closely with the Superintendent and Project Management team, this individual will execute detailed finish work, assist in field coordination, and ensure that design intent and craftsmanship standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings pride in workmanship, precision, professionalism, and a strong understanding of how each phase of construction impacts final finishes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for:
• Executing high-level finish carpentry including cabinetry installation, millwork, trim, paneling, doors, hardware, custom details, and architectural features to luxury standards.
• Ensuring all finish work aligns precisely with architectural drawings, interior design plans, and approved shop drawings.
• Assisting with layout verification and dimensional accuracy to support proper installation of finish elements.
• Supporting framing, blocking, and backing activities where necessary to ensure future finish installations are properly prepared.
• Collaborating with Superintendents and Project Managers to anticipate sequencing requirements and protect finished surfaces.
• Performing detailed quality checks on installed work and assisting with punch list completion and final detailing.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite, especially in finished environments and client-occupied spaces.
• Coordinating respectfully with subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow efficiency and protect high-end materials.
• Representing the company professionally when interacting with clients, architects, designers, and inspectors.
• Contributing to daily documentation and maintaining awareness of inspections, materials, and installation sequencing.
What You Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and committed to quality. The ideal candidate will possess:
• 10 years of experience in high-end residential construction.
• Advanced proficiency in finish carpentry including custom millwork, cabinetry, trim packages, and detailed architectural elements.
• Working knowledge of framing, MEP coordination, waterproofing, building envelope, and overall construction sequencing.
• Proven experience working on luxury custom homes or high-end remodels.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior design plans, and shop drawings with precision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with pride in craftsmanship.
• Professionalism and discretion in high-end residential environments.
• General working knowledge of Procore or similar construction management platforms preferred.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
