Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Office Manager located in Santa Monica, CA. The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Black Bear's headquarters, and be responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

Key duties include:

• overseeing all building vendors including contracts
• scheduling and standards of care
• onboarding new employees and being a point of contact for HR issues as they arise
• maintaining office supplies and equipment
• liaising with IT and security
• overseeing internal and third party film screenings, receptions, and events
• planning and overseeing corporate team-building events and days of service
• overseeing Black Bear's move into its new HQ and pointing all related administrative and logical issues related to same.

Salary

$80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Office Manager experience for high profile entertainment or media companies
• A familiarity with film production, post-production and IT related to same
• Strong track record of managing vendors and internal staff
• Expertise working with a diverse set of employees to problem solve issues big and small.
• A positive, can-do attitude, where no task is too small
• A hospitality-oriented mindset that focuses on the details
• A sense of humor
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Experience overseeing traditional office, stage and screening spaces
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred
