Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure security measures are in place.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during investigations.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and gather evidence when required.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
- Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations peacefully.
Skills
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR is highly desirable for emergency situations.
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security systems including CCTV operation.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices within a security context.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security risks.
