K-9 Security Patrol Handler
The K-9 Security Patrol Handler is responsible for providing proactive security services through mobile and foot patrols with a trained K-9 team to deter, detect, and respond to criminal or suspicious activity. This role includes conducting routine and random patrols, monitoring assigned areas, controlling access points, and responding to alarms or incidents in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Handlers are responsible for the daily care, handling, and welfare of their assigned K-9, maintaining constant control of the animal at all times, and ensuring all training, equipment, and safety standards are met. The position requires clear communication with supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when necessary, along with accurate documentation of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14.0 – 40.0 per week
