Located in Newport Beach, California, the Lease Administrator reports directly to the Lease Administration Manager. This position supports the broader leasing team’s leasing and tenant relations and retention efforts.
The Lease Administrator will have excellent attention to detail, time management, and strong team collaboration skills.

The Job Essentials
This person’s key responsibility will be as follows:
- Abstract lease agreements and amendments into Yardi (BKM’s property accounting software)
- Review recovery clauses, set up recovery pools, calculate recovery expenses for each tenant, input base years and other non-standard exclusions
- Generate and post monthly recurring lease charges
- Process the initial steps in the tenant move-out process
- Assist in the review of the tenant rent, operating expense, tax, or insurance reimbursement reconciliation as required
- Maintain the integrity of lease data file systems and lease records
- Within Yardi, maintain a summary of critical dates and lease clauses
- Coordinate with Property Accountants to process any one-time or manual tenant charges
- Coordinate with Property Managers for the timely submission of tenant surrender forms and other lease updates
- Sensibly address special requests received from peers and management with BKM’s company mission in mind
- Perform general copying, scanning, and filing functions as needed
- 2 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate or property management administration
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Proficient in Yardi preferred

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
