Job Summary
BJE Professional Services is seeking a qualified Paralegal to join our team at the Department of Community Affairs in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist with reviewing Planned Real Estate Development applications, non-binding reservation agreements, and association annual reports. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Planned Real Estate Development applications for compliance and accuracy.
- Assist with the evaluation of non-binding reservation agreements.
- Review and process association annual reports.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to real estate development projects.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a paralegal or in a legal administrative role.
- Knowledge of real estate development regulations and compliance requirements.
Pay: $27.50 per hour
