BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Centralized Telemetry Supervisor for CTM Department (BJC Commons Building - 4249 Clayton Rd., St. Louis, MO)
Position Details:
- Evening Shift Hours: 3 – 12 hour Shifts per Week (11am-11pm) 1 - 4 Hour Shift (3pm-7pm) with every 3rd Weekend shift (7am-7pm)
- Maintain & update employee’s daily schedule, troubleshoot technical & employee relations issues, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new hires.
- Assists manager with budgetary and financial analysis and reporting
Experience:
- Telemetry experience (preferred)
- Phillips Monitoring System experience (preferred)
- People Leading experience
- Team Lead Monitor Tech experience
- If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: Central Monitoring Unit (CMU), Central Telemetry Manager, Cardiac Monitor Tech Supervisor, Telemetry Lead, EKG

Overview
Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Centralized Telemetry, a department in which trained monitor technicians observe and analyze various heart rhythms of patients who are admitted to the Centralized Telemetry Monitoring system. Technicians monitor patients within BJH North and South, as well as, BJ West County. Constant communication with nursing staff regarding changes in rhythm status is key to patient care. Technicians will call CODES if lethal rhythms are detected for patient safety and positive outcome of patient condition

The Centralized Telemetry Supervisor is responsible to the Telemetry Manager and all HSO patients across BJC (excluding IL hospitals). Assists Centralized Telemetry manager in daily operations management, including hiring, supervision and mentoring staff; preparing, maintaining and updating employee schedules, troubleshooting technical and employee relations issues; assists training coordinator with onboarding, orientation, and quality control; assists manager with budgetary and financial analysis and reporting.
