Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions.
- Handle cash accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
- Manage food handling responsibilities including serving, bussing tables, and ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed.
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support overall restaurant operations by adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, café, or retail environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced service efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and sales transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays if needed.
