An international trading company in Portland Office is seeking a sales rep who Support the achievement of the Department’s financial
goals by maintaining/expanding existing business and supporting the development
of new business in Food industry.
■ Support budget management of the
department.
■ Assist
in development of a business plan and sales strategy.
■ Assist in development of new importing
& exporting business in the food industry.
■ Negotiates and closes terms of
purchase/sales with supplier and customers.
■ Contacting customers.
■ Create new business and/or expand business.
■ Monitors customer’s financial situations
and payment status.
■ Ensures the business compliance.
■ Researches and analyzes investment opportunities
in the North American food industry.
■ Supervises Sales assistant/Logistic specialist.
Requirements
■ 2-3
years of relevant work experience preferably in the seafood/marine products
industry.
■ Appropriate
Knowledge of FDA, USDA, and U.S. Customs is a plus.
■ Knowledge
of trade terms and food products.
■ Strong
interpersonal, negotiation, closing, persuasive skills.
■ Strong
customer service skills.
■ Ability
to train sales assistant /Logistic specialist
■ Knowledge
of basic accounting principles.
■ Proficient
with Microsoft Office products
■ Business
level Japanese. (speak, read, and write)
■ Willingness to travel and work in a
global team of professionals.
