QC Incoming (Mechanical Inspector)
About the Role
Seeking an experienced QC Incoming / Mechanical Inspector. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet purchase order requirements, engineering drawings, and quality standards.
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented inspector who enjoys hands-on measurement work and collaborating with quality and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspection of materials and components
- Use precision inspection tools including:
- Micrometers
- Vernier calipers
- Ring and plug gauges
- Dial indicators
- Optical comparators
- Micrometers
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Perform in-house calibration of measurement equipment and coordinate with external calibration labs
- Ensure materials meet quality, engineering, and military specification requirements
- Work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
Experience with Keyence IM-X1000 Image Dimension Measurement System is a plus.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent

5 years of QC inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

3 years of hands-on experience with mechanical inspection equipment
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
