Salary Range $18–$21
Your tasks
- Constructing mechanical/controls items in an industrial facility
- Full line assembly – start/finish
- Participates in continual process improvement
- Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment
- Responsible for keeping the work area clean and orderly
- Follows all quality processes and procedures as established
- Must be able to sit or stand and lift to 50 pounds infrequently
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade Degree, or equivalent experience
- One year of basic mechanical assembly or related experience preferred
- Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to lead team projects and work within team projects
- Problem-Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
- Deductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to problems to produce sensible answers
- Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels
- Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
