Substitute Teacher Position
Do you love being around children, jumping into creative play, and making a difference—even just for the day? We’re looking for energetic, reliable, and nurturing substitute teachers to join our amazing early learning crew at our youth programs.
Whether you're a retired educator, a college student, a parent with a bit of free time, or someone exploring a new path—you belong here!
What You'll Do:
- Step into early learning classrooms with children ages 0–5
- Support routines like snack time, circle time, outside play, and cozy reading moments
- Work alongside caring teachers and staff to keep kids safe, happy, and engaged
- Jump into fort-building, mud kitchen creations, puppet shows, and all the joyful chaos of early childhood
- Communicate kindly with children and grown-ups alike
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- You’re dependable, flexible, and can go with the flow
- You’re patient, playful, and have a great sense of humor
- You enjoy working with kids (even if you don’t have formal experience!)
- You’re able to take direction and jump in wherever needed
- You’re excited to learn about early childhood education in a real-world setting
