After School Teacher Position
Do you believe that learning doesn’t stop when school ends? Are you someone who can turn a stick into a magic wand, a cardboard box into a spaceship, and a rough day into a reason to smile?
The Bitterroot Early Learning Network (BELN) is looking for After School Teachers to join our growing programs at Evergreen Kids Corner! Our after school crew is a safe, fun, and inspiring place for kids in grades K–2 to relax, create, explore nature, and build friendships.
What You'll Do:
- Welcome and supervise a small group of children (ages 3-5) during after school hours
- Lead games, art, outdoor adventures, and hands-on learning activities
- Support positive group dynamics
- Be a safe and consistent presence for kids who need someone to notice their greatness
- Collaborate with fellow staff and bring your own creative spark to the team
You Might Be a Great Fit If:
- You're available Monday–Friday afternoons (approx. 2:30–5:30pm).
- BONUS IF YOU CAN WORK FRIDAYS!
- You’re warm, upbeat, and great with young children
- You enjoy hands-on learning, nature play, or messy art projects
- You’re responsible, communicative, and can juggle snack time and storytelling like a pro
- You have experience babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or working with kids (or you're excited to learn!)
