Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service skills, with experience in various food and beverage settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with a background in bartending and/or mixology will thrive in this position. The bartender will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using Toast POS systems.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during events such as parties or catering functions.
• Uphold all food safety standards related to beverage preparation and serving.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending is preferred.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is advantageous.
• Strong skills in time management, sales, customer service, basic math, and food handling are essential for success in this role.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices is required.

Pay: $13/hour training wage; $7.50/hour bartending wage tips
