Primary Title: Head of Commercial Growth

Roles & Responsibilities
- GTM Strategy & Execution: Design & execute a comprehensive go‑to‑market strategy across healthtech, medtech, and enterprise AI.
- Pipeline Development: Serve as the primary individual contributor driving early customer pipelines, user acquisition, enterprise pilots, and revenue pathways.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and secure high-value partnerships with manufacturers of medical devices, surgical robotics, and image-guided interventions, as well as with research institutions.
- Commercial Architecture: Own the end-to-end sales strategy, pricing structures, corporate positioning, and customer segmentation.
- Brand Narrative: Drive marketing, brand storytelling, and high-stakes external communications.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the company in investor meetings, pitch sessions, industry conferences, and strategic partnerships.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the technical team to align product development with real-world market demands and commercial opportunities.
- Post-Funding Operations: Build early business operations frameworks and establish the architectural blueprint to recruit and lead the core commercial team once institutional funding scales.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.E./B.Tech) in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative or scientific field with at least 10 years of progressive experience; OR a master’s degree (M.B.A.) with at least 8 years of relevant experience, is required, demonstrating hands-on commercial execution capability in the required areas listed below.
- Domain Expertise: Deep expertise in sales, marketing, and business development for technology‑first healthtech/medtech products.
- Technical Translation: Demonstrated ability to translate interdisciplinary technical concepts into value-driven commercial strategies, taking complex technical products to market.
- Deal Closing: Proven track record of securing strategic partnerships and navigating enterprise B2B sales cycles within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, storytelling, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills, with a track record of closing deals and driving revenue.
- Execution Bias: Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity and build structure from absolute zero.
- Startup Exposure: Prior experience within the early-stage startup lifecycle (founder or early employee as a commercial leader in Pre-seed through Series A), demonstrating resilience & adaptability in a steep learning-focused environment.
- AI Commercialization: Experience commercializing AI in medical imaging, simulation, or clinical decision-support technologies.
- Business Scaling: Experience scaling startups from early-stage to market leadership.
- Business Network: Existing network within healthcare systems and medtech conglomerates, to leverage relationships for business growth.
- Fundraising/Investor Relations: Prior involvement in fundraising or navigating investor relations.
- Healthcare Regulations: Familiarity with regulatory pathways (FDA, HIPAA, etc.).

- Option #1 (Pre-funding): Join the team as Co-founder & Head of Commercial Growth, before we raise our first round of outside capital. This is initially an equity-only role, offering a meaningful co-founder-level equity stake. Upon securing outside funding, there is a clear path to a balanced salary & benefits package.
- Option #2 (Post-funding): Join the team as Head of Commercial Growth, after we raise our first round of outside capital. Compensation will include a competitive salary & benefits package. Any stock options will be commensurate with a senior-level hire. Candidates selecting Option #2 will be considered only if no qualified candidate is found for Option #1.
