What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Associate position at BitMart?
About the Role
BitMart is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support the day-to-day liquidity and asset operations of our global exchange platform.
This role is central to maintaining the reliability of user-facing financial services, with a strong focus on identifying and resolving operational exceptions that require timely cross-functional coordination.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working in a fast-paced crypto environment, and able to exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and triage daily operational exceptions in withdrawal processing. Investigate root causes and drive resolution through coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Manage on-chain asset liquidity across multiple blockchain networks, including routine consolidation, balance monitoring, and escalation of anomalies.
• Support token migration events by performing asset reconciliation, validating position data, and liaising with project parties and business teams throughout the process.
• Coordinate asset replenishment activities when liquidity gaps are identified, including sourcing from internal reserves or external markets as appropriate.
• Administer project-party liquidity deposit requirements for new network integrations. Track compliance and conduct periodic reviews.
• Maintain daily treasury reports and dashboards. Proactively surface discrepancies and prepare summaries for treasury leadership.
• Collaborate with operations, data, and technical teams to resolve asset-related issues and improve process efficiency.
Requirements
Must-Have
• 1 to 3 years of experience in treasury operations, crypto exchange operations, or blockchain asset management.
• Solid understanding of cryptocurrency on-chain mechanics, including hot wallets, cold wallets, asset consolidation, and chain-level transactions.
• Ability to quickly triage multi-variable problems under time pressure, such as identifying whether a withdrawal failure stems from liquidity, chain, data, or security issues.
• Strong proficiency with data tools such as Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliation and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• High sense of responsibility and sound judgment. Withdrawal exceptions are time-sensitive and can directly affect user funds.
Nice-to-Have
• Familiarity with crypto custody or asset management platforms, such as NOAH, Fireblocks, or similar tools.
• Experience working cross-functionally with quantitative trading, chain engineering, and compliance teams.
• Understanding of token economics and exchange listing processes.
• Experience with SQL or basic data querying for anomaly investigation.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary and performance bonus.
• Exposure to a high-complexity, real-money treasury environment across 100 blockchain networks.
• Collaborative and fast-moving team culture where your work directly impacts platform reliability.
• Opportunities for career growth within the Finance & Treasury function.
