Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of core crypto exchange features. This role requires a blend of technical fluency, user-centered thinking, and strong cross-cultural communication. You will work closely with engineers (primarily in Asia), designers, compliance, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver products that are reliable, compliant, and competitive.
You should be comfortable navigating distributed teams, working across time zones, and driving end-to-end product outcomes in a fast-paced, highly regulated domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the product roadmap for core exchange components (trading, wallets, onboarding, risk & compliance tools, liquidity features, etc.).
- Translate business goals and user insights into clear product requirements, specifications, and success metrics.
- Lead cross-functional execution, collaborating daily with engineering teams located primarily in Asia and coordinating with U.S.-based leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication across time zones, ensuring alignment and transparency on priorities, milestones, and risks.
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay informed of crypto market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Work with compliance and legal teams to ensure features meet regulatory standards in the U.S. and global markets.
- Drive technical understanding of architecture, APIs, data models, and operational constraints to make informed product decisions.
- Measure product performance, analyze usage data, and iterate quickly based on feedback and KPIs.
- Champion user experience, collaborating with design to create seamless and intuitive flows for traders and institutional partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of product management experience, including 2 years in crypto, fintech, trading systems, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of crypto exchanges, order books, market making, blockchain fundamentals, and related technologies.
- Experience working with international or distributed engineering teams, ideally across U.S. and Asia time zones.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to break down complex problems, analyze data, and make data-informed decisions.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies.
Preferred
- Experience in a regulated financial or crypto environment (U.S. preferred).
- Technical background (CS degree, engineering experience, or strong technical literacy).
- Prior experience with KYC/AML, compliance tooling, custody solutions, or institutional trading products.
- Passion for blockchain, Web3 innovation, and global financial inclusion.
- Bilingual is a plus.
