JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Facilities Maintenance
REPORTS TO: General Manager
SUPERVISES: None
STATUS: Regular Full-time, Non Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
·Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC upkeep.
- Inspect buildings, structures, and systems for functionality and safety; report issues to management.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist in the setup and teardown for events or facility changes (e.g., moving furniture, installing equipment).
- Monitor and maintain building systems including fire alarms, elevators, and security systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, building codes, and company policies.
- Maintain records of work completed, supplies used, and equipment serviced.
- Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in building maintenance a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general building maintenance or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
