Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests
- Assist servers by delivering food orders from the kitchen to the dining area accurately and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, dishes, and supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support food safety standards by properly handling dishes, utensils, and food items during service
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely food delivery and table turnover
- Assist with basic food running duties during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is valued
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, cleaning protocols, and kitchen safety standards is a plus
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but training will be provided
- Previous banquet or hotel service experience can be advantageous for understanding guest expectations
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering excellent in-person customer service
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods is necessary
