REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain consensus demand forecasts for assigned customers and distribution centers.
- Analyze historical shipments, POS trends, promotional plans, pricing changes, and customer inventory levels to develop demand forecasts.
- Monitor statistical forecast outputs and make adjustments based on business insights and market trends.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply teams to gather information and improve forecast accuracy.
- Support new product forecast development through analysis of launch plans and comparable product performance.
- Participate in monthly S&OP activities and provide input on forecast changes, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor forecast performance metrics, including Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with annual planning activities and financial forecast updates.
- Maintain forecasting data, reporting, and planning tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.
- Lead demand planning activities for larger and more complex customer accounts.
- Mentor Demand Analysts and provide guidance on forecasting methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Drive process improvements that enhance forecast accuracy, reporting, and planning efficiency.
- Identify systemic forecast issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of Supply Chain experience.
- 2 years in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Sales Operations, Procurement, Logistics, or similar analytical planning disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex customer forecasts and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Retail forecasting experience.
- APICS, ASCM, or IBF certification.
- Experience utilizing advanced forecasting methodologies and statistical models.
- Cross functional influencing skills
