Retail Pricebook Specialist

Bishop & Company is searching for a Retail Pricebook Specialist for an excellent client on the island of Oahu.  This position is with a local company that has locations throughout Hawaii and are firmly rooted in Hawaiian values.

This position plays an important role in managing Pricing, products, promotions, set up, and vendor management.  They are also responsible for POS and back of house office systems.  Working closely with leadership including brand, advertising and merchandising, this positions supports over 20 locations with this fast growing company.  This position is also responsible for supporting employees, retail strategy, and merchandising/operations. 

Education

• Degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3 years in Pricebook or related field
• Experience in pricebook, category, and store merchandising—ideally in convenience retail

Skills

• Proficient in POS/Pricebook systems (PDI, Passport) and Microsoft Office
• Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and troubleshooting skills
• Able to analyze pricing, margins, and product performance
• Effective cross-functional collaborator (ops, vendors, finance)
• Experienced in promotions, pricing strategy, and retail merchandising
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
• Adaptable to tech and process changes; team-oriented

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; open to on/off-island travel
• Familiar with retail operations and convenience store dynamics
• Skilled in planning, project management, and cross-functional teamwork
• Knowledge of tools like PDI, Nielsen, IRI preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail industry and store operations experience
• Project management background

• Based on O‘ahu; frequent travel required
• Commitment to company values
• Must pass background check, physical testing, and drug screening
• TWIC card required within 60 days
• Clean driving record

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $60K-$80K or higher with additional experience. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
